Short Bio

Adrienne Levay is an Alberta-based songwriter, storyteller, and former academic aiming to live a creative life. Influenced by artists like Norah Jones, Ben Harper, Ryan Adams and Trevor Hall, Adrienne lightheartedly and cleverly weaves stories and songs together. She engages her audience by inviting them to join her on a journey through the highs and the lows of this human existence. 

After decades of relegating music to the background of her life while she built a “successful” life in academia, Adrienne found herself in a persistent existential crisis. In 2023, she returned to songwriting as a form of personal healing, challenging herself to write seven songs in seven days. By day two, something shifted. The process unlocked a sense of meaning and connection she hadn’t felt in years, setting her on a path back to music.

Now, Adrienne creates intimate, story-driven performances that draw audiences into moments of reflection, resonance, and emotional release—offering a space to feel seen, softened, and reconnected to what matters.

She is currently booking performances across Western Canada and preparing to release her third EP in three years. It explores themes of oneness, flow, and healing through earthy, synth-infused folk textures.
